A heartbreaking case has come to light in Andhra Pradesh.A mother in Guntur district of the state killed her own son over half an acre of land. The accused has been identified as Basit, son of Munnibi and her second husband. Police registered a murder case and arrested ten people. Police said there was a dispute between the two over land for the past six months and it escalated to such an extent that the woman killed her own son.
According to the police, Munnibi was married to Hussain of Hasnabad in Krosuru mandal twenty years ago. They both had a son, Mehboob Basha. However, barely two years after Mehboob Basha’s birth, differences began between Munnibi and Hussain and within a few days both of them divorced. After Hussain’s divorce, Munnibi married Karimulla of Thammavara and left with her son Mehboob Basha. Karimullah and Munnabi have a son, Basit. Karimullah also died after they both had children. In such a situation, Munnibi reached Hasnabad with his two sons.
What was the reason?
Police said Mehboob Basha, daughter of the first husband, inherited all her father’s properties. While the son of the second husband, Basit, got less property. Due to this, there was a dispute between her son Mehboob Basha and Munnibi regarding the property received from her first husband. The dispute between the two escalated so much that Mehboob Basha married a girl from the same village. The result was that Munnibi and Basit felt that they would not get the property.
Basha died in the hospital.
To get the property, mother and son hatched a plan to get rid of Mehboob Basha. In such a situation, a week ago mother Munnibi, her younger brother Basit and ten other people went to Mehboob Basha’s house to attack him. First, his mother poured chilli powder in Basha’s eyes, after which they all together attacked Mehboob, due to which he was seriously injured. Due to serious injuries, Basha was admitted to the hospital, where Basha died during treatment. The real matter came to light during the police investigation, following which a case was immediately registered and the people were arrested.
