(Rewari News) Rewari. Under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rajpurohit, Disha Police organized a road safety quiz competition in all schools and colleges of the district on Tuesday. The nodal officer of this contest, DSP Traffic Vinod Shankar, said that the main objective of this contest is to create awareness among children about traffic rules and road safety.
Like every year, Rewari police has organized road safety quiz competition in all schools, colleges (private and government) and ITIs to create awareness about traffic rules and road safety. A road safety quiz competition was organized in around 1,011 schools, 25 colleges, colleges and polytechnics in the district on Tuesday.
Four levels of students were created for the competition. In which groups of students from classes 3 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 12 and university students were formed. The teams of the respective police stations organized competitions in schools and colleges in their area. A total of 203660 students participated in the competition, including about 48597 students of the first level, 57034 students of the second level, 83981 students of the third level and 14048 students of the fourth level.
Students who obtain the first three positions in each level will be selected from this competition. Whose second phase competition will be held soon. DSP Traffic thanked the DEO and all the BEOs for conducting the road safety quiz competition peacefully and smoothly.
