The health department began looking for a location.
Rewari News (Aaj Samaj) Rewari: The health department is working on a plan to create a separate ward at the government hospital located in Rewari for tuberculosis patients in and around the district. With the construction of a separate ward, tuberculosis patients will not have to wander from one place to another for treatment. Tuberculosis patients will be able to get adequate medicines and treatment under one roof. Which will benefit patients suffering from the disease.
The health department has begun searching for land for an independent neighborhood. It may be noted that a few days ago, Chief Health Officer Dr. Brahmdeep came to inspect the Rewari Government Hospital. During this time, he had announced the creation of a separate special ward for tuberculosis patients at the Rewari government hospital. Now the department officials have started the process in this regard. In the hospital there are separate beds for tuberculosis. But now a separate ward will be created for patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
There will be arrangements for 5 beds in the ward.
There will be at least 5 beds in the separate tuberculosis ward. More than 85 victims of aggravated tuberculosis are found in the district every year. These patients should receive better treatment and if admission is necessary it can be done in a separate room. A room will be created for this. These patients cannot be admitted together with normal patients. Because there is a risk of spreading the infection.
