Rewari News (Aaj Samaj) Rewari: Targeting a house in a village in the district, the four stole jewelery worth Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 50 lakh. The thieves committed the robbery late at night. No member of the room where the jewelry and money were stolen was sleeping. All the members of the house slept in other rooms of the house. Police arrived at the house upon receiving information about the robbery and recovered evidence. The police have registered a case against unknown thieves following the owner’s complaint.
In the complaint lodged with the police, Satyaveer Singh, a resident of Harchandpur village in Rewari district, said that he was sleeping at home with his family last night. The thieves entered his house at midnight. The thieves went to the room where no one was sleeping. The thieves broke the lock of the closet that was kept in the room. Besides Rs 50,000 in cash, the robbers stole around two tola gold lockets, around 2 tola gold earrings, anklets and silver coins from the cupboard. When the family members woke up in the morning, the objects kept inside that room were found scattered here and there. When the closet was searched, jewelry and cash kept in it were missing.

Satyaveer said he informed the police about the robbery by calling 112. The police reached the spot and collected evidence. After investigation, police registered a case of theft based on Satyaveer’s complaint and started taking action. In addition, the CCTV cameras installed in the town are also being checked to find clues about the thieves.
