Following the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rajpurohit, the district police launched a special check drive in the district on vehicles without number plates, vehicles with black film, without high security number plates and vehicles with wrong number plates. The police have given necessary instructions to such drivers to install high security number plates prescribed by the government on their vehicles.
Police teams from across the district were at all major intersections and observed moving vehicles. Vehicles covered with black film, vehicles without number plates and vehicles without high security number plates were stopped and challans were issued. Similarly, Challan proceedings have also been carried out against vehicles with wrong number plates.
Following the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rajpurohit, the police carried out a vehicle checking drive to prevent criminal activities and ensure road safety.
The vehicle checking drive was carried out by establishing checkpoints at various places in the district. During the vehicle check, drivers were stopped who were traveling on the main road without license plates and violating other traffic regulations. People driving vehicles without helmets were told to follow traffic rules and wear helmets for their own safety. The police will continue the vehicle checking campaign to prevent criminal activities in the district.
