(Rewari News) Rewari. All preparations have been completed for the function to be held at Raj International School on November 23 at 5 pm in memory of Rewari’s forgotten master poet, Nandlal Nairang Sarhadi. In this function, invited poets, writers and critics from India and abroad will remember the literary contribution of Nairang Saheb, who was a teacher of Persian, Urdu and Punjabi at the Rewari Hindu School, through debates and mushaira.
Director of cultural organization Mitram, Satyaveer Nahdia, said that at the function, vice-president of Haryana Academy of Literature and Culture, Panchkula, Prof. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri will be the chief guest, Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi (Canada ), author of numerous investigative books on the creativity of Nairang Sarhadi, will be the main speaker and poet and Bollywood lyricist Shakeel Azmi will participate as the main poet, Asif. Azmi will chair the programme.
School President Rajendra Saini will serve as the welcome speaker.
Among the invited literati, Prof. Chandrashekhar, writer Kamna Prasad, Colonel Sanjay Chaturvedi, Dr. MR Kasmi, Ahmed Alvi, Dr. Gurvinder Banga, singer and poet Vipin Suneja are notable. President of the school Rajendra Saini will play the role of welcome speaker in this function which will be conducted by Dr. Shafi Ayyub.
The director of the organization said that the entire family of Nairang Saheb, literati of Rewari, literature lovers and social workers will be present at the ceremony. On this occasion, the Babu Balmukund Gupta Kohinoor Award, which was recently awarded to Narang Saheb by the Babu Balmukund Gupta Literature and Journalism Preservation Council, will be presented to his eldest son Naresh Narang, who has come from Canada.
