(Rewari News) Rewari. On the second day of the three-day youth festival being held at Indira Gandhi University, Mirpur, 18 competitions were organized at seven different stages. In which the participants showed their talent.
The main stage-1 began with classical dance performances. In which five teams participated. 7 teams participated in Mimicry, a unique art of imitating other artists by changing their voice, and 6 teams participated in One Act Play, which is the center of attraction of any youth festival.
In the second stage, 10 teams showed their talent under the song of the Indian group and the song of the Haryanvi group. There was a powerful Haryanvi solo dance performance on stage 3. Seven participants performed in the male group and 13 in the female group. 20 teams participated in the Hindi debate competition in Stage 4. A quiz competition was also organized on this stage. The English debate competition was held in Stage 5. In which 17 teams participated. Street plays and a Haryanvi short film were performed on stage 6. In the fine arts category, collage, poster making, on-site photography and installation programs were organized on stage-7.
The second stage is held at the university’s Kalpana Chawla Auditorium, while stage 3 is held outside the same building. Stages 4, 5 and 6 are being executed at Rao Tularam block, while stage 7 is being organized at Sardar Patel Bhawan and University Park depending on the event. The Youth Festival will conclude with the awards ceremony on Saturday. In which the chief guest will be Major TC Rao (Retired, Chairman, Delhi Cantt Development Committee, Delhi) and the special guest will be businessman Trilok Sharma.
