Pradeep’s body was recovered naked by the police from the railway tracks on Saturday morning. Police say initial investigation revealed that Pradeep was murdered. They hit him on the head with a rock. They have also strangled him. Marks from a brutal beating were also found on the body.
When police investigated the scene, they found empty beer and drinking water bottles, packets of snacks and crisps a short distance from the train track. The police detained the body and sent it for autopsy. According to information received, Surajbhan, a resident of the village, said in the complaint lodged with the Kalanaur police that his son Pradeep had left the house on Friday morning saying that he would come to visit. On Saturday morning, Pradeep’s body was found naked near the railway track towards Kalanaur. His son had a mobile phone, which was not found. The motorcycle is also missing. The father of the deceased said that his son was a truck driver. He said Pradeep has no enmity with anyone.
The accused will soon be arrested by the police.
According to the police, the young man tried to flee. One of his sneakers was also found lying in the field. From the marks made on the ground, it seems that he had struggled a lot to escape. Mud was found all over his body. Investigating officer Rakesh Kumar said it appears that Pradeep might have been his friend and Pradeep was strangled to death. The police are investigating the matter. He stated that the accused would be arrested soon.
