Hooda Khap demands action from DGP
Rohtak News (Aaj Samaj) Rohtak: The ongoing controversy over the movie Do Patti shows no signs of stopping. The controversy that started with the comment made about the Hooda clan in a scene of the film has now reached the Haryana DGP. Earlier, Hooda Khap officials had met CM Naib Saini and demanded that appropriate action be taken in the matter. Also on November 16, Hooda Khap officials lodged a complaint with the Gurugram police station regarding registration of a case against the producer, director, actor of the film and OTT platform Netflix. But since no action has been taken so far, Hooda Khap officials have lodged a complaint with the Haryana Director General of Police demanding that appropriate action be taken in the matter.
Surendra Hooda, a member of the committee formed by Sarva Hooda Khap, has appealed to the Haryana DGP. Surendra Hooda tagged the Haryana DGP on social media while sharing the photo of his complaint and the receipt handed over at the police station. He also appealed that no FIR has yet been registered in this matter. FIR should be registered as soon as possible. He also tagged Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and demanded to take cognizance of this matter. The film Do Patti was released on October 25. Hooda Khap has demanded that the comments made in the film be removed and that the filmmaker, director, actor and the operator of the OTT platform that aired it publicly apologize.
Controversy over this scene from the movie
Hooda Khap says there is a scene in the movie Do Patti, in which an artist is accused in court, which means murder is not this. The murder was committed by our neighborhood resident, Hooda, who burned his daughter-in-law alive in public. Khap takes exception to this comment.
