Sangh Parivar is fully prepared to ensure the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in all nine assembly seats in the Uttar Pradesh by-elections. In the coordination meeting held between RSS and BJP leaders in Lucknow on Thursday, the by-elections and the current situation were discussed. The Sangh, which leads the mission of Hindu unity, sees its own interest in the BJP’s victory. That is why it has been decided not only to write the history of BJP’s victory in the RSS by-elections but also to give advantage to Hindutva and nationalism to unite Hindus scattered across castes.

Arun Kumar, co-secretary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, participated in the coordination meeting held at Prakriti Bharti in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. In the meeting held with the Yogi government and BJP leaders, Arun Kumar took feedback on the UP by-elections and also prepared a plan for the Sangh to help the BJP.

Brainstorming on Hindu Caste Unification

According to sources, the Sangh-BJP coordination meeting discussed the possibility of uniting Hindu castes in the name of nationalism and Hindutva. The impact of the narrative “if we are divided, we will be cut” and “if we remain united, we will be safe” has been successful in the Haryana elections. With these slogans it has been decided to win the political battle in the UP by-elections and decide the future political direction. Sangh, Yogi government and BJP together will implement it at the grassroots level. Social networks will also be used. Apart from this, Sangh workers will also sharpen this mission by going door to door and mobilizing voters in the by-election seats.

Following the BJP’s poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, these elections have become a prestige battle for the party. If the BJP wants to show its strength in the pretext of these by-elections, then the credibility of the Sangh is at stake. Therefore, in the last few days of the by-elections, the Sangh has also chalked out a strategy to concentrate all its forces on the contested seats of Karhal, Kundarki, Sisamau and Katehri. These days, everyone from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also pushing the Sangh’s Hindutva agenda.

What do the experts say?

Journalist Siddharth Kalhans says the SP’s PDA ticket was a success in the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha elections. Due to the PDA formula of the SP and the indifference of the Sangh, the Hindutva agenda of the BJP was ruined and the Hindu castes were completely dispersed, due to which the BJP had to suffer in the elections. The Sangh Parivar is also concerned about the disintegration of the fabric of Hindu society, which was built by the RSS with years of hard work. Therefore, to cut the PDA, the Sangh has decided to give more advantage to the Hindutva agenda so that the social equation can be smoothed out in the by-elections.

Another senior journalist, Vijay Upadhyay, says that since the Lok Sabha elections, the Sangh Parivar has maintained mutual coordination with the Yogi government and the BJP organisation. BJP and Sangh have made all preparations to avoid a mistake like the Lok Sabha elections. There is a strategy to resolve caste equations on the ground rather than simply limiting themselves to issues of propaganda and polarization. A plan has been drawn up to ensure BJP’s victory through groups of Sangh workers in booths in the by-election areas.

Try to form an opinion through in-depth discussion.

Staying away from BJP programmes, groups of Sangh workers reach out to all castes and teach a lesson of national interest to the caste-divided Hindu society. Furthermore, he is also explaining the significance of CM Yogi Adityanath’s motto ‘Batenge to Katenge’ among all classes and castes of the society. Each team holds meetings with small groups of 5 to 10 people. Vijay Upadhyay says these Sangh groups do not directly support the BJP, but are dedicated to shaping people’s opinion through in-depth discussions on national interest, Hindutva, good governance, development, public welfare and issues local.

Apart from the Lok Sabha elections, this time the Sangh is also supporting the BJP in its grassroots campaign. In the by-elections, apart from CM Yogi Adityanath, all other leaders hunker down and try to unify the equations and societies and not let them divide. Sangh co-government leader Arun Kumar scripted the victory by meeting the Yogi government and BJP leaders five days before the by-election poll and taking feedback, because many seats are very difficult for the BJP because of caste equation.
