Like every month, many rules will be changed starting this month i.e. starting November 1, 2024, which will have a direct impact on the pockets of common people. The price of 19kg commercial gas cylinder has increased, while there have been changes in railway ticket booking rules, credit cards, banking rules and money transfer rules. First change: LPG gas prices increased
With the beginning of the new month, the price of LPG cylinders has increased. The price of LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 62 from today. Oil companies have increased the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder. The companies have not made any changes to the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinders.
The cylinder price in Delhi has increased from Rs 1,740 to Rs 1,802. In Kolkata, the price of a cylinder has increased from Rs 1,850.50 to Rs 1,911.50. While in Mumbai, the 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1,754 instead of Rs 1,692.50. In Chennai, this cylinder has increased from Rs 1,903 to Rs 1,964.
Second change- ATF and CNG-PNG types
Along with LPG gas, the price of CNG-PNG increases, but there are no changes in its price this month. However, the price of air turbine fuel (ATF) has been revised. In recent months there has been a reduction in the price of aviation fuel. In October, the ATF price had decreased from Rs 93,480.22 per kiloliter to Rs 87,597.22 per kiloliter. However, now its prices have increased and its price in Delhi has reached Rs 90,538.72 per kilolitre.
Third change: credit card rules changed
SBI Card, a subsidiary of State Bank of India (SBI), will implement important changes from November 1, which are related to utility bill payments and finance charges through your credit card. From November 1, finance charges of Rs 3.75 will have to be paid every month on unsecured SBI credit cards. Apart from this, a 1 per cent surcharge will have to be paid when paying more than Rs 50,000 towards electricity, water, LP gas and other utilities.
Fourth change: money transfer rule
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced new rules for domestic money transfer (DMT), which will come into effect from November 1, 2024. The aim of these rules is to prevent misuse of banking channels to commit fraud.
Fifth important change: change of train ticket.
The advance reservation period for train tickets (ARP) of Indian Railways, which does not include the day of travel, has been reduced from 120 days to 60 days with effect from November 1, 2024. The objective of this amendment is to maintain convenience of passengers by streamlining the ticket purchasing process.
Sixth change: increased limit regarding UPI
There will be two major changes to the UPI Lite platform starting November 1, 2024. UPI Lite users will now be able to make more payments. The RBI has also increased its transaction limit. Apart from this, there has been another change, in which it has been said that the UPI Lite balance will be below a certain limit. With the new auto recharge feature, money will be added back to UPI Lite.
Seventh change- Do not work in banks for 13 days
Banks will be closed on many occasions in November. In November there will be a total of 13 holidays. During these holidays, you can complete your banking-related works and transactions using the online services of banks. This service remains operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
