On receiving the information, the Pillukheda police station and the rescue team of the wildlife department reached the spot, but during the search operation nothing was found to indicate that these marks were of a leopard. Currently, the wildlife department and police are monitoring the area.
There was a stir on Saturday when two puppies and a dog were found injured on PNB Bank Road in Pillukheda Mandi. There were bite marks on the necks of both the dead puppies and the injured one. With which the rumor of being a leopard spread. On receiving the information, Pillukheda Police Station reached the spot and the wildlife team was called to the spot to assess the situation.
Who spoke to the people but no witnesses came forward. Footage from the CCTV camera installed on the street was also examined, but the leopard was not visible in it. Along with which Hisar Wildlife Department rescue team also reached the spot. The team and police searched the area for about five hours but found no presence of leopard. Then the wildlife department and police monitor the area.
Wildlife Department inspector Manbir Khatkar said two cubs were found dead and one injured. There are also teeth marks on the neck. Nothing was visible even on the CCTV camera. The footprints found are those of monkeys and dogs. The area is then being monitored with the rescue team.
