Russia Ukraine War: The war between Russia and Ukraine is taking a dangerous turn. After the American weapons, Ukraine has now attacked Russia with British ‘Storm Shadow’ cruise missiles. Meanwhile, Russia has said it has destroyed two British-made ‘Storm Shadow’ missiles.
What did the Russian Defense Ministry say?
The Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday that its air defense systems destroyed two British-made ‘Storm Shadow’ missiles, six HIMARS rockets and 67 drones. The announcement was made at the ministry’s daily briefing on “special military operations” in Ukraine. He did not say when and where exactly the incident occurred or at whom the missiles were fired.
Russia has also destroyed missiles before
This is not Moscow’s first public announcement about the downing of British-made ‘Storm Shadow’ missiles. Russia had also previously talked about destroying some of those missiles on its occupied Crimean peninsula.
