Criminals set fire to 7 vehicles
On Sunday, a crowd created a ruckus around the poll at Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. The mob pelted stones at the police team and set fire to the road. The criminals set fire to 4 motorcycles and three cars. The miscreants continued to make a fuss for an hour. The police have arrested 10 people. At the same time, a young man died in the violence. The police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse the miscreants. During this time, the police also fired tear gas.
Tension continues after the stir in Sambhal. The district judge has traveled to the scene. SP is present with the police of 5 police stations. Meanwhile, the police arrested 6 people at the scene. Some police officers have also been injured in the violence. Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Vishnoi said some miscreants came out from the crowd near the mosque and pelted stones at the police team. The evildoers will not be saved.
Mosque inspection carried out after court order
Regarding Jama Masjid of Sambhal district, the Hindu side claims that it is the temple of Harihar. The Hindu side had approached the court in this regard. Following the court order, the mosque was inspected on the night of November 19. After this, today again a team contacted Shahi Jama Masjid to conduct the survey. Everything was quiet in the morning. Inspection work was being carried out inside the mosque. Meanwhile, a crowd began to gather outside the mosque and people began to create a ruckus. Then, some miscreants threw stones at the police.
However, the mosque committee had given its consent for this survey. Both parties were present during the survey. A video of the riots is going viral, in which the Sambhal SP is seen appealing to maintain peace.

I appeal to the Muslims of Sambhal to maintain peace. As far as court proceedings are concerned, Jama Masjid is ours. Its minarets, walls and domes are proof that it is a historic mosque. “We will fight this battle through the law and solid evidence and success in this will be ours.”
