There is an uproar across UP over the violence in Sambhal. SP MPs under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav met the Lok Sabha Speaker. SP MPs have demanded the President to debate the Sambhal violence in the House. During this, Akhilesh raised the issue of FIR lodged against Sambhal MP and said that though he was not present, the FIR was lodged. He demanded protection from the Sambhal MP.
He said otherwise how will parliamentarians act in such a situation? Akhilesh Yadav has continuously spoken about the violence in Sambhal. Yesterday, that is, on Sunday, he tweeted saying that he had appealed for peace in Sambhal. He also said that no one should lose hope that justice will be done. The government of injustice does not last long, the government will change and the era of justice will come.
In fact, violence broke out on Sunday in connection with the inspection of the Shahi mosque in Sambhal. Four people died in this violence and more than two dozen were injured. A case has been registered against Sambhal SP MP Zia Ur Rehman and Suhail Iqbal, son of local MLA Nawab Iqbal, in connection with this incident. These two people are accused of conspiracy to commit violence, while MP Zia Ur Rehman claims that he was not even present there. Despite this, FIR was registered.
