4pm News Network: The controversy over the mosque survey in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh is continuously increasing. Police’s swift action continues in Sambhal violence case. Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind on Wednesday (November 27) filed an application in the Supreme Court regarding the Sambhal mosque study. Jamiat has said that the courts are ordering a study of religious places under the Places of Worship Act, 1991. This is wrong. Jamiat has further said that the Places of Worship Act, which requires maintaining the form of religious places of 1947, should be fully implemented.

According to information received, Jamiat’s petition in this matter is pending before the Supreme Court. But it is not heard. Jamiat’s lawyer has written a letter to the Registrar of the Supreme Court demanding an early hearing on the Places of Worship Act.

Life is said to be gradually returning to normal after the violence that broke out during the survey of Mughal-era Jama Masjid in Sambhal. Schools have reopened and many shops have reopened. But internet services are closed in Sambhal tehsil. District Information Officer Brijesh Kumar says that as per the directions of the district magistrate, internet services will remain closed in Sambhal tehsil till 4 pm on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, members of the Hindu and Muslim communities have called for unity and pledged to rebuild communal harmony. In view of the situation that arose following the violence, police and administration officials are closely monitoring the situation. Along with this, personnel have been deployed at major intersections and Rapid Action Force (RPF) personnel are deployed in sensitive areas. According to sources, the administration has banned the entry of outsiders and public representatives into Sambhal till November 30.
