Samsung has come up with a special offer for its users in India. For some time now, users have been complaining about the green line problem on the screen of Samsung phones. For this, the company had offered users a one-time free screen replacement. In this the company had maintained Galaxy S21 Series and Galaxy S21 FE. Now the company has also included its most premium model in this list. Thanks to this, users will not have to bear the cost of replacing the phone screen.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra included in the list
An insider has shared information about this Samsung offer through social media. Samsung support has confirmed that the company has now included the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in the free screen replacement program in India. Samsung offers free screen replacement for those smartphones that have green line issues and whose warranty expires on December 31, 2024.
Free Screen Replacement Policy
In the company’s free screen replacement, users will get the OCTA replacement i.e. touch AMOLED assembly on the handset. Apart from this, free replacement of batteries and kits are also offered to users. The company says that the screen will be replaced only on those devices that the user has purchased within 3 years, that is, the purchase date of the phone must be after January 1, 2021. Older devices will not be eligible for this offer.
The company says that there will be no charge to users for the replacement of the screen and the kit. However, tag charges and repair costs will be recovered from users. Users facing green line issues on their eligible Samsung smartphones can book an appointment at the company’s nearest service center and get the phone’s screen replaced for free.
However, this is not the first time that the South Korean company has offered users free replacement of a screen or any other part. In early April, the company had also announced a special replacement program. This replacement program was also specifically for those Galaxy devices that were facing the green line issue. These include the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S22 series.
