Many states in the country are currently concerned about stray animals. People are letting their pets free. These include even good breed dairy cows. They may not be able to serve or feed them, but there are some of these people who are buying donkeys instead of cows and buffaloes for milk. You may also feel a little strange after hearing this, but this news is confirmed.
Let us tell you that a person named Nutlapati Murali, a resident of Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, had started a dairy farm called ‘Jenny Milk’ three months ago. This dairy farm was started with great fanfare in Hospet, Karnataka. Nutlapati Murali assured the people around him that he could earn thousands of rupees by trading in donkey milk, but first he made a condition of giving three lakh rupees as a deposit to his organisation.
He took three lakh rupees from each farmer.
Nutlapati Murali said those who deposit money will receive three donkeys. He promised that if whoever breeds these donkeys and extracts milk from them, he will give two thousand rupees per liter. About 200 farmers were influenced by Nutlapati Murali’s words and made the payment. Each farmer paid Rs 3 lakh to Nutlapati Murali dairy farm. People spent thousands of rupees and bought donkeys.
The owners who grazed the purchased donkeys by spending thousands of rupees started asking Jenny Milk Company to buy donkey milk, but the company manager started wasting time saying this and that. He didn’t even buy anyone a glass of milk. The result was that one person suspected something was wrong and complained to local authorities.
200 farmers deceived
The inspection carried out by the officials revealed that there was no permit for the donkey milk business. Along with this, the Jenny Milk Company office was confiscated. Its director, Nutlapati Murali, is currently on the run after the authorities closed the company. He defrauded 200 farmers of around Rs 9 million. The company stated that they provide three donkeys in one unit. Many people bought many units after the company’s complaint.
People were informed that more than 20 units had already been sold. The company delivers donkeys 20 days after the agreement, which are brought from various states, including Rajasthan and Gujarat. There were many strict conditions for milk production, in which the company collected the milk directly. Each unit of three donkeys will give at least 1.5 liters and a maximum of 2 liters of milk per day. If milk production exceeds this limit, the company reserves the right to cancel the agreement and lose the amount paid by the farmer.
A donkey sold for one lakh rupees
Apart from this, the company also provided refrigerator, other technology and bottles for storing milk. When the farmers union learned that a company was luring farmers to make money, it investigated. It was revealed that for the donkey which was available in the market for 20 to 30 thousand rupees, 1 lakh rupees was recovered from the farmers. Not only this, after taking the money from the farmers, the company disappeared from there. After this, the farmer went to the police and filed a complaint regarding the matter.
