With the pollution situation improving in Delhi NCR, the CAQM has taken a big decision. In this regard, permission has been granted to open schools in Delhi NCR. Along with this, measures have been taken so that studies also continue online. Students who do not want to come to school under such circumstances cannot be forced to come to school. As per this order, schools in Delhi NCR will now function in both online and offline mode.
Recently, the AQI in Delhi NCR had crossed 460. After this, the Supreme Court showed a strict attitude. In such a situation, CAQM had given orders to close schools up to class 10 in Delhi NCR and start online studies. However, in view of the continued decline in pollution levels over the past two days, schools were given permission to reopen in offline mode on Monday night.
The final decision will be taken by the respective state governments.
As per the latest order, an exemption has been granted under Clause 11 of Phase III of the GRAP, Clause 5 and Clause 8 of Phase IV of the GRAP. The Delhi government will take a decision on this in Delhi.
The studies will continue in online mode as well
The Uttar Pradesh government will decide on Noida and Ghaziabad of NCR and the Haryana government will decide on Gurugram-Fariaabad.
