J&K Terrorism, (Aaj Samaj), Srinagar: Security forces have killed two terrorists in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The incidents are from Bandipora and Kupwara. The search operation continues in both places. An encounter took place between security forces and terrorists in the Jetsun forest area of Bandipora while they were in the Lolab forests of Kupwara. In this encounter, the security forces have killed a terrorist. Two CRPF and Army soldiers were also injured in Bandipora.
The operation was launched after suspicious activity was detected
A police officer said security forces detected suspected terrorist activities in Choontwadi area of Bandipora yesterday. Based on this, the local police, CRPF and the army’s 28 Assam Rifles launched a search operation in the area. Meanwhile, terrorists started shooting and in retaliation by security forces, one terrorist was killed here.
