The controversy over the claim of Shri Harihar temple east of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, UP, is gaining momentum. The Hindu side claims that the Jama Masjid located in the city was earlier the temple of Shri Harihar. So the Muslim side says that this is the historic mosque of their community and they are trying to spoil the atmosphere by raising this matter in court.
