Firecrackers explode on the train

GRP Deputy Superintendent of Police Jagmohan Singh said the injured were admitted to Fatehgarh Sahib government hospital. Preliminary investigations have so far revealed that the explosion was caused by a firecracker kept in a plastic bucket in the general compartment of the train. The train started from Ludhiana and left for Ambala after stopping at Sirhind Junction, so its speed was low.
