Famous folk singer Sharda Sinha is no more in this world. Sharda Sinha breathed her last at the age of 72 at Delhi’s AIIMS Hospital. Everyone greatly respects him and his work. In her old interview, Sharda Sinha herself revealed that no matter what, she used to do Riyaz for 8 hours every day. He dedicated 8 hours a day to his music.

During the interview given to The Lallantop, Sharda Sinha also spoke about her personal life. He told how he raised his daughter along with music. He said that even during his Riyaz, his daughter used to be with him. According to Sharda Sinha, when she practiced, her daughter slept on the lap of her uncle, who played tabla and banjo.

Sharda Sinha said: “No matter what, we used to do Riyaz for 8 hours. We used to practice exactly 8 hours each. The flute and the tabla play and it is better to make her sleep here than cry in the other room. In between we would put her to sleep and continue doing riyaaz. Even I was a milkmaid and I did cover songs but I didn’t stop playing the instrument.”
