(Aaj Samaj), Patna: Famous Bihar folk singer Sharda Sinha will be cremated today with state honours. He died on Tuesday night at Delhi AIIMS at the age of 72. Yesterday morning, the mortal remains were brought to Patna by plane and kept here at the Rajendra Nagar house for the last rites. People kept coming and going for the last darshan throughout the day.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday announced the cremation of Sharda Sinha with state honours. Yesterday he also reached Kokila’s house from Bihar to pay tribute to him. Sharda Sinha not only recognized the cultural traditions of Bihar across the country but also internationally.
