The results of the assembly elections held in Maharashtra were revealed on the 23rd, after the results, the winning candidates are immersed in the celebration. Independent candidate Shivaji Patil won the Chandgarh assembly constituency. A fire suddenly broke out during the victory celebrations that began late in the afternoon. In which Patil himself and some women present were trapped in the fire. The injured were taken to hospital immediately after the incident.
Eyewitnesses said that some women participating in the procession were also injured. A video of the incident is also going viral on social media. The entire incident took place when the women were performing Shivaji Patil’s Aarti, at the same time a large amount of gulal fell from the crane onto their Aarti plates. Therefore the fire occurred. Due to which some women including Shivaji Patil were burnt.

Independent candidate Shivaji Patil was contesting against NCP Ajit Pawar and NCP Sharad Pawar for the Chandgarh Assembly seat, but won the election by 24,134 votes, a crushing defeat for candidates of both parties. Rajesh Patil of Ajit Pawar’s NCP was in second position.
