Innocent child who lost his life in the hospital
In the city of Shivpuri, a twelve-year-old boy lost his life due to the negligence of doctors. His relatives have made such accusations. Relatives say they admitted their son Aaradhya to the district hospital, where his health deteriorated, but instead of conducting tests, doctors referred the boy to another hospital.
A man named Abhay Tripathi was carrying his 12-year-old son Aaradhya to Delhi for treatment on Monday morning when he died on the way. Abhay accused the doctors at the regional hospital of negligence. According to information, Aaradhya, a resident of Krishna Puram colony, fell ill on October 20. Abhay had his son treated privately but despite this, his condition continued to deteriorate and he began vomiting blood.
Dengue tested positive on October 29.
After this, Abhay admitted the boy to the district hospital on October 26, where he remained admitted till October 27, but even though the boy’s health continually worsened, the doctors did not bother to test him for dengue or of any other type. On the night of October 27, Aaradhya was brought to Gwalior in critical condition. The boy entered Gwalior on the night of October 27-28. The boy was tested for dengue on October 28. When the boy tested positive for dengue on October 29, doctors continued his treatment there and on November 3, the boy was referred to Delhi’s AIIMS Hospital.
Doctors said the accusations were wrong.
In this whole matter, Dr. BL Yadav, Shivpuri civil surgeon, says that the child was admitted to us on the 26th at 11 pm with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. On the morning of the 27th, when he complained of a fever of 101 degrees, we had him examined, so the doctors suspected infection due to a low number of neutrophils and the child was referred at 8:40 at night. The accusations made against us are unfounded and we do not carry out any investigation.
