Samajwadi Party candidate Naseem Solanki is making headlines these days in the assembly by-elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh’s Sisamau seat. According to the Trust, this puja led to the use of the temple’s sanctum for political purposes, which is against religious decorum. The temple priest said that if followers of other religions wanted to worship, permission should have been sought first.

Muslim religious leader issued fatwa

After Naseem Solanki worshiped at the Vankhandeshwar temple, Muslim religious leader Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi called him contrary to Islam and issued a fatwa against him. After the fatwa was issued against Solanki, the temple priest said, “If people of your religion have so many problems, then you should have asked him for permission first.
