In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, a dowry-hungry family crossed all limits of humanity. The victim lodged a complaint with the police and filed a case against her mother-in-law, father-in-law and her husband. The victim has alleged that due to non-compliance with dowry demand, her in-laws installed a hidden camera in her room. The daughter-in-law told the police that her in-laws had done this so they could blackmail her.
According to information, this whole matter is in Rataul village of Khekra Police Station area of Baghpat. A woman named Pushpa, a resident of Jahan, was married to Jitendra Kumar in Roshan Vihar in Dayalpur police station area of Karawalnagar. The girl’s parents told the police that they had gifted her an Alto car, jewellery, property and cash worth around Rs 25 lakh at the time of marriage. Despite this, within a few months of getting married, Pushpa started harassing her for dowry from her husband Jitendra Kumar, her mother-in-law Rajwati, her father-in-law Sundarpal and her sister-in-law Reena.

Pushpa told the police that after continuous dowry demands, she also took Rs 5 lakh from her house to her in-laws. But even this did not satisfy him. He continuously demanded ten lakh rupees. Due to this, Pushpa was mentally tortured by her husband, in-laws and father-in-law. Based on the woman’s statements, the police have registered a case. At the moment, the name of the woman’s husband has also been included among the accused. The police have launched an investigation.

Pushpa said her in-laws tried to blackmail her by destroying the dignity of the relationship. Therefore, his in-laws and father-in-law installed hidden cameras in his room. With the help of hidden cameras, he wanted to blackmail Pushpa and demand money from her. As soon as Pushpa came to know about this, she filed a case against her in-laws.
