India Women vs Australia Women: The Indian women’s cricket team will play a three-match ODI series on the tour of Australia in December. The team for this had already been announced by the BCCI. Harmanpreet Kaur had taken the responsibility of captaincy but now the Indian team has suffered a huge blow even before the tour. When batsman Yastika Bhatia is out of Australia tour due to injury.

Uma Chhetri got the spot

Yastika Bhatia suffered a wrist injury in the Women’s Big Bash League. This has been confirmed by the BCCI medical team. Now his recovery is closely monitored. The Women’s Selection Committee has included Uma Chhetri in the team as her replacement. BCCI has given this information through Twitter.

Uma Chhetri has played only four T20I matches

Uma Chhetri is less experienced than Yastika Bhatia. The 22-year-old Uma made his T20 International debut for Team India this year and has only played 4 T20 International matches for the Indian team, in which he scored 9 runs to his name. Bhatia, meanwhile, has played 19 T20I matches for the team, in which he has scored 214 runs.
