People angry over the poll at Sambhal’s Jama Masjid have pelted stones at the police. Police fired tear gas to disperse the crowd. After the court order, when the team arrived again today to conduct the survey for the second time, the crowd became angry and attacked the police.

During this, the crowd threw stones at the police and there was a fierce fight. A video of this incident has also emerged in which the police and SP are seen wearing helmets and throwing stones from the other side. Currently the situation in Sambhal is tense.

The survey team had arrived early in the morning.

The investigation team entered Jama Masjid at 7.30 am. The situation was normal for about an hour when suddenly a crowd arrived and there was an argument between the police. SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi and DM Dr Rajendra Pensia took charge and tear gas shells were fired to disperse the angry crowd.

When DM and SP arrived to pacify the angry crowd, the angry crowd started shouting slogans. To disperse the crowd gathered in the area around Jama Masjid, the Sadar of Jama Masjid made an announcement from inside the mosque, but the crowd did not disperse and after some time stone pelting began.
