Stock market close on November 22, 2024: Today there was a sharp rise in the stock market after a long time. The market opened in green on the last day of the week. BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 193.95 points at 77,349.74 points and Nifty 50 also opened with a gain of 61.90 points at 23,411.80 points. Buying dominated the entire day since the market opened and finally BSE Sensex closed at 79,117.11 points with a gain of 1,961.32 points and Nifty 50 also closed at 23,907.25 points with a gain of 557.35 points. We told you that on Thursday the market had also closed lower. Yesterday Sensex closed down 422.59 points at 77,155.79 points and Nifty closed down 168.60 points at 23,349.90 points.
The fastest rise in State Bank of India shares
On Friday, shares of 29 of the 30 Sensex companies closed in the green with a rise, while shares of only one company closed in the red with a slight decline. Similarly, in Nifty 50, shares of 49 out of 50 companies closed in the green with gains and shares of only one company closed in the red with losses. For Sensex, shares of State Bank of India closed with the biggest gain of 4.34 per cent today, while shares of HDFC Bank closed with a slight decline of 0.03 per cent.
There was also a sharp rise in the shares of these companies.
Today, shares of Bajaj Finance 3.95 percent, Titan 3.91 percent, ITC 3.69 percent, TCS 3.62 percent, Larsen & Toubro 3.42 percent, Reliance Industries 3.34 percent , HCL Tech 3.34 percent, JSW Steel 3.25 percent, UltraTech Cement 3.22 percent, Infosys 2.96 percent per cent, Power Grid 2.85 Shares of Bharti Airtel closed with gains of 2.81 per cent, Tata Motors 2.62 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra 2.59 per cent, NTPC 2.47 per cent, Tech Mahindra 2.45 per cent, ICICI Bank 2.23 per cent.
Shares of these Sensex companies also closed in the green.
Apart from these, Bajaj Finserv 2.16 percent, Sun Pharma 2.14 percent, Hindustan Unilever 2.13 percent, Adani Ports 2.09 percent, Maruti Suzuki 2.00 percent, IndusInd Bank 1.77 percent percent, Asian Paints 1.72 percent, Tata Steel 1.60 percent, Nestle India 1.41 percent, Kotak Bank Mahindra 1.30 percent. And Axis Bank shares closed with a gain of 0.27 per cent.
