South Africa vs Sri Lanka
The Indian team will begin the Test series in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy from November 22 in Perth. Once this first Test match is over, the Sri Lankan team will begin a 2-match Test series on the tour of South Africa. Sri Lanka has announced its team for this series. The first Test match between Sri Lanka and South Africa will be played in Durban from November 27. After this, the second Test match will begin at St. George Park from December 5.
Left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya has been included in Sri Lanka’s squad for the two Test matches in South Africa. The last time he played a Test match was two years ago. Player Nishan Peiris, who made his Test debut against New Zealand in September, has also been included. Bowling all-rounder Ramesh Mendis does not have a place in the team. Mendis was overlooked despite taking 6 wickets in his only Test match this year.
