Here the bride, angry and disappointed by her groom’s refusal to marry her, consumed poison outside her house. He was immediately taken to hospital, but died during treatment. In this case, a process has been initiated against the lover based on a complaint from the deceased girl’s family. The search continues.
Srinagar police station chief Shivpal Singh said that on Monday night, Mamta Vishwakarma (21) of Nanuara village had gone to the house of Golu Tamrakar (25) in Manoharganj area. There was a love relationship between the two for a long time. Mamta wanted to marry her lover Golu. But he continually denied it. Due to this, there was an argument between them, after which Mamta consumed a poisonous substance. His condition began to deteriorate rapidly.
Seeing this, Golu’s family took him to the district hospital, from where he was referred to Jhansi Medical College. But he died on the way to the hospital. The SHO said preliminary investigation revealed that Mamta and Golu were in a relationship. Based on the complaint of Mamta’s brother, a case of abetment to suicide has been registered against Golu and his brother Akash. They are being searched.
