The Supreme Court has notified the Gyanvapi Masjid Management Committee and the Archaeological Survey of India in the Kashi Vishwanath Gyanvapi Masjid dispute case. This notice has been issued on the petition filed by Hindu petitioners. According to the information, after the ASI study at Gyanvapi, an order has been issued regarding further study of the remaining eight basements, the Shivalinga found at Vajukhana and the three alleged domes. In this case, the court issued a notice to the Muslim side and the ASI asking them to submit their views on the ASI survey by December 17.

According to ASI survey, out of 12 basements of Gyanvapi, ASI survey could not be carried out in 8 basements. Apart from this, the study of the Jyotirlinga under the main dome has also not been carried out. In this regard, the Muslim side has been notified. In this matter the Hindu side says that return of knowledge Like the rest of the complex, a study of this sealed area is also necessary, in order to find more evidence that demonstrates the presence of the temple there. Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said, “We stated on May 16, 2022 that a Shivalinga had been found in the so-called Vaju Khana. The Anjuman administration denied this and said it is a source. On this matter he said that we had demanded a study from the ASI. Now a notice has been issued to the Muslim side regarding this matter.
