More than 100 passengers arriving in New Delhi from Phuket in Thailand were stranded at the airport for around 80 hours due to a technical problem on the flight. All the passengers had arrived at the airport to leave for New Delhi on an Air India flight. Passengers shared their ordeal on social media and alleged that they did not receive adequate help from airline representatives during the flight delay.

According to Air India, this flight, which took off on the night of November 16, was delayed by 6 hours due to a technical fault.

However, the situation worsened when passengers had to wait for hours at the airport. He finally boarded the flight, but was taken off after an hour because the flight was suddenly cancelled.

Air India accepted the cancellation and regretted the inconvenience caused.

The airline issued a statement saying: “Our ground staff tried to minimize inconvenience to passengers. All assistance on the ground was provided, including hotel accommodation and food, some passengers were also accommodated on available alternative flights. Travel options were also offered. full refund to passengers At Air India, the safety of our passengers and crew members is the top priority.

However, passengers have stated otherwise. Many passengers tagged Air India on social media and shared their problems. Passengers claimed they received little to no good feedback.

The situation worsened when passengers were told that the same flight had been repaired and was ready to take off. The flight departed after a two-day delay, but about two and a half hours into the journey, it had to return to Phuket due to another technical issue. Due to this, the passengers were trapped again.

In a social media post, one passenger described the incident as “mentally and physically exhausting,” while another alleged that the airline failed to provide an adequate plan to resolve the issue.

Despite Air India’s assurance that it would provide accommodation, some passengers reported confusion and delays in providing hotels and food.
