There are by-elections for four assembly seats in Bihar, which is considered the semi-final of 2025. After this, direct assembly elections will be held in 2025. By-elections are being held for Belaganj, Imamganj, Tarari and Ramgarh seats. In the NDA alliance, BJP is contesting the Ramgarh and Tarari seats and Deepa Manjhi, daughter-in-law of Jitan Ram Manjhi, is contesting the Imamganj seat. At the same time, Manorama Devi is contesting from Nitish Kumar’s JDU party to demolish the RJD fort in Belaganj. RJD candidates are contesting from Ramgarh, Imamganj and Belaganj. CPI(ML) candidate Raju Yadav is in the Tarari Assembly election fray.
