The bride ran away on the second day of the wedding in a village in Milak area of Rampur, UP. The girlfriend also allegedly took the jewelry and valuables she kept in the house. The victim called the girl’s family, caught her and handed her over to the police. The victim has asked the police for justice. The SP said the request was received and is being investigated.
According to information, two months ago a person from the village married his disabled son to a girl who lived in Rudrapur. In return, the girl’s side had demanded Rs 60,000 and the entire amount was paid. Now the victim’s side alleges that on the second day of the wedding the girl ran away with Rs 60,000, jewelery and a mobile phone. Even after much searching, no one was found.
The victim said that we had married our son, so the girl stayed there for two or three days with the jewellery, after which she left secretly at night and also took Rs 60,000. He took five things, including a mobile phone. He has taken a small mobile phone and a big mobile phone. It’s been 2 months since the marriage.

The girl stayed only 2 days after marriage, now we have filed a complaint. A complaint was also filed the day it happened. The police are questioning them now. We want our lost money and jewelry recovered. If she starts living in the house, our work is worth thousands of rupees, so she can take it from us and even poison us. The victim said that we had called these people with an excuse, when they came, we caught three people at the intersection and handed them over to the police.
What did the Superintendent of Police say about the whole matter?
In this case, Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra said that there is no such news about the robber bride nor has any arrest been made. There was a marriage between the two parties and there was some problem of discord in the marriage in which he had applied. The application is being examined and action is being taken as per norms.
When asked if the girlfriend is in police custody or has she been released? On this, the Superintendent of Police said that no one of this type was detained or will be detained, because there was a request and both parties had come to investigate that request.
