A strange case has come to light in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. In the district, a man’s wife and mother of three has eloped with a man who appears to be her brother-in-law. The victim’s husband demands justice for the children. According to information received from the police, the woman fled with the young man along with gold and silver jewelry, cash and money.

Ghanshyam Shriwas, a resident of Zakaria Pura locality, wrote a letter and lodged a complaint at Mahoba police station. Ghanshyam said his wife had eloped with her maternal uncle’s son on October 28, 2024. The man alleges that his maternal uncle’s son seduced his wife and took her away.

The wife eloped with the maternal uncle’s son

In the complaint letter, Ghanshyam Shri was told that he and his family live in a rented house in Sonipat and work as daily wage labourers. The young man said that on October 28, when he had gone to work, leaving his wife and children at home, but when he returned he did not find his wife. Ghanshyam said his maternal uncle’s son also lived in a rented house near his house. In such a situation, when he went to his maternal uncle’s son’s house to ask about his wife, he beat him and threw him out.

The victim Ghanshyam made these accusations

Ghanshyam alleges that his wife eloped with her maternal uncle’s son with Rs 70,000 in cash and gold and silver jewellery. The young man said that his maternal uncle had told him that his son would soon marry his wife at court. Ramsi wrote a letter and filed a complaint at Mahoba police station, but since the matter is related to Sonipat, the police asked the victim Ghanshyam to go to Sonipat and lodge a complaint.
