To conduct the Katehari Assembly by-elections in a fair and peaceful manner, District Election Officer Avinash Singh carried out spot inspections of various polling stations of Katehari Assembly constituency and physically observed the condition of basic facilities. During this, the District Election Officer visited various polling places of Katehari Assembly Constituency like: Composite Higher Primary School, Ahiroli Katehari Education Area, Marthura Saraiya Katehari Primary School, Ashrafpur Barwan Primary School , Darwan Primary School, Pratappur Chamurkha Primary School, Semra Ghat Primary School Katehari Education Area etc. were inspected. He instructed to ensure adequate lighting in the environments of all stands. He directed the OBLs and other concerned officials to immediately remove deficiencies in election-related infrastructure facilities, including toilets, electricity, water, cleanliness, ramps, shade, etc., at all polling stations. He directed the concerned officials to revisit all polling stations and ensure all basic facilities on time as directed by the Hon’ble Election Commission of India. On this occasion, villagers were also provided with information about the Sea Vigil app. During the inspection, the district election officer had lunch with the children of Marthura Saraiya Primary School. He also took information from the children about their studies. During this, the children gave positive responses. During the inspection, the district electoral officer congratulated all officials and employees deployed on electoral duties in a spirit of cooperation with each other to ensure the successful completion of all electoral processes. Instructions were given to work better to ensure compliance with the instructions of the Electoral Commission and conduct all electoral processes in a fair and transparent manner. During the inspection, the list of voters was also read at all polling stations. He appealed to the voters present and the general public that all voters should vote and should also motivate other voters to vote compulsorily.
