Himachal Political News: Retired workers take to streets to ask for pension: Jairam

Shimla. Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur said that the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ show has given a new platform to the expectations of the country and its countrymen. Through this, people express their views by appealing to the Prime Minister and the Prime Minister to the people. These calls are having a huge impact on society. Whether it is cleanliness in the country or awareness about the environment or participation in the development of the country, at the call of the Prime Minister, the entire country walks step by step with him. The advantage of this is that work which cannot be done even by spending billions of rupees, can only be achieved through public awareness and the guidance of the Prime Minister.

Jai Ram Thakur claimed that the success of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign is a proof of the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In just five months, more than 100 million trees have been planted across the country under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. The most pleasant thing is that the people themselves take care of the trees they plant. Planting over 100 million trees at the request of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the very people who conserve them is nothing less than a blessing for the environment. Now, this trend is not going to stop now.

Bringing 1 lakh youth into politics will change the condition and direction of the country’s politics, the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program gave a new platform to the expectations of the countrymen.

The opposition leader said that all issues raised by the Prime Minister through the “Mann Ki Baat” program have received full cooperation and participation from all countrymen. Due to this, large public participation programs were started one after another in the country and great objectives were achieved. Various programs related to cleaning are examples of this. When millions of people of the country came forward even at the mere call of Prime Minister Modi and goals that seemed impossible were easily achieved.

Jai Ram Thakur said that today the work of uplifting the hidden talents in the country and giving them a platform is being done through this program of the Prime Minister. Through this programme, various aspects related to India, Indianness and humanity come to the fore every day, not only in the country but also abroad. The Chennai library, which has become the hub of creative learning, be it the Nature Arivagam or the campaign to save sparrows to increase biodiversity or the innovative and eco-friendly experiments of making clothes from scraps of clothes. When the Prime Minister encourages these people to give them a place in his platform, a large number of people come forward to carry out such activities. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is the world’s most successful public dialogue programme.

The opposition leader said that immense participation of the youth is needed to give a new direction and condition to the country’s politics. Keeping this in mind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also said from the ramparts of the Red Fort that he will bring such capable and talented youth into politics, whose families will have nothing to do with politics. In view of the same, next year, when the entire country will celebrate the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Prime Minister will launch a special campaign to bring more than one lakh youth into the country’s politics. This effort of his will prove to be a milestone in the times to come in the direction of appreciating, beautifying, carrying forward and enriching the political heritage of India.
