Hyderabad: The Telangana government has issued a notice to the organizers ahead of Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Hyderabad on Friday. He said that the program will not sing songs that promote alcohol, drugs and violence. Diljit’s concert here is part of his Dil-Luminati tour across 10 cities in India.
These things will be prohibited during the live show.
The notice has been issued by the District Welfare Officer, Rangareddy, Department of Women and Children, Disabled and Elderly Welfare, based on the representation of a resident of Chandigarh. In the notice, Diljit Dosanjh has been banned from singing songs that promote alcohol, drugs and violence during his live show held in Hyderabad on November 15. The notice also prohibits the singer from using children on stage during his shows.

The notice further states that loud noises and flashing lights during the concert are harmful to children. The application filed along with video evidence claims that Daljit Dosanjh had sung songs promoting alcohol, drugs and violence during a live show at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium last month, the notice said.

Meanwhile, a video posted on Diljeet’s social media shows that the singer arrived in the city and visited the historic Charminar. He also offered prayers at a temple and gurudwara in the city.
