Prayagraj : Committed to making Mahakumbh 2025 the biggest event of Sanatan Dharma, the Yogi government is gearing up to deal with every emergency. In view of the largest cultural program in the world, a comprehensive plan has been prepared for the safety of 45 million people. For this purpose, a four-zone security cordon has been created for the water police. In which security personnel divided into 107 rounds will be deployed at the venue to protect the devotees coming from India and abroad. Apart from a total of 10 PAC companies, SDRF, NDRF and 141 security personnel, guards are being deployed on 700 ships. Many teams of health workers are working with them.

IG PAC East Zone Dr Rajiv Narayan Mishra said that 10 PACs of the company will be ready for the safety of devotees coming from India and abroad during Mahakumbh. During Mahakumbh, around 45 million devotees from India and abroad are expected to reach Prayagraj. Special arrangements have been made for the safety of devotees who come to bathe in the Sangam. In which the security personnel are divided into 107 beats. Not only this, modern water control rooms equipped with doctors and Jan Aushadhi centers are also being constructed to ensure that bathers do not suffer any kind of inconvenience. The Water Police is preparing to construct 16 sub-control rooms along with separate police stations and police posts. So that all the facilities can be provided to the devotees in the blink of an eye.
The reflective line of the river will not be violated.
He said that to avoid any untoward incident, barricades are being made by connecting floating thermoplastic blocks, on which police personnel will be deployed 24 hours a day. There will be no chance of boats colliding during swimming, adequate measures are also being taken for this. Under which a reflective river line is being built using solar energy. So no sailor will be able to violate the lane.
four zone protection cycle
The yogi government has made special arrangements for the safety of devotees coming to Prayagraj from India and abroad during Mahakumbh. Within this framework, a security cordon was created dividing the water police into four zones.
First zone (confluence area)
The first will be the Sangam circle, in which 290 PSC, SDRF, NDRF, 8 PSC divers, 30 security personnel, 18 private divers, 26 home guards, 27 motor boats and 113 boats have been deployed for security measures in 25 rounds.
Second Zone (Banyan Ghat)
The second will be the siege of Banyan Ghat. In this second zone there will be 33 security personnel, 100 PAC and NDRF SDRF, 50 Home Guards, 40 PSC divers, 50 private divers, 24 motor boats and 77 vessels in 28 rounds.
Third Zone (Sangam to Durvasa area)
The third zone will be from Sangam area to Durvasa. In this third zone, 21 security personnel, 68 PAC and SDRF, NDRF, 16 private divers, 28 local guards, 8 motor boats and 99 boats will be available for the safety of minors under 16 years of age.
Fourth zone (confluence area with Phaphamau)
The fourth zone will have 38 beats, which will have 50 security and PAC, SDRF and NDRF 210 personnel, 14 PSC divers, 19 private divers, 64 local guards, 33 motor boats and 311 boats.
