Fast bowler Siddharth Kaul, who played his first international match for the Indian team in 2018, announced his retirement from all formats of cricket on the evening of November 28. Siddharth was once counted among the most talented fast bowlers in Indian cricket, in the year 2008 when the Indian Under-19 team won the World Cup under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, Siddharth Kaul was also a part of that match. Siddharth Kaul also managed to show his talent in the IPL, but in recent years, while he has not been a part of this T20 league, his return to the Indian team has not been seen either.

Siddharth Kaul made his debut in both ODI and T20 International in the year 2018, in which he played 3 ODIs and as many T20 matches. While Siddharth could not take a single wicket in ODIs, he has 4 wickets to his name in T20 Internationals. Apart from this, Siddharth has been a part of four Indian Premier League teams, where he has played for Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. During this period, Siddharth got the opportunity to play a total of 55 matches in the IPL and in this one he managed to take 58 wickets at an average of 29.98, in which his best performance in a match was 4 wickets for 28 runs. Siddharth played his last match in the IPL in the season played in 2022 when he was part of the RCB team.

Siddharth Kaul gave information about his retirement by posting it on the social media platform. Now the time has come to announce my retirement. I cannot express in words the support I received from all the people during this period. I don’t know what the future holds, but this journey so far has been very good for me.
