Indian The stock market opened today, Tuesday, with a slight drop. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex index opened today falling 240 points to 78,542. In early trading it was trading at 78,674, down 0.14 percent or 107 points. In early trade, out of 30 Sensex shares, 15 shares were trading on the green mark and 15 shares were trading on the red mark. At the same time, the Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange was trading at 23,970 points, down 0.1 per cent or 25 points. In early trade, out of 50 Nifty shares, 29 shares were trading on the green mark and 21 shares were trading on the red mark.

There was a drop in these stocks.

The biggest fall in Nifty Pack shares was seen in Adani Ports by 2.12 per cent, Trent by 1.25 per cent, Shriram Finance by 0.97 per cent, HDFC Life by 0.81 per cent and Reliance with 0.79 percent. Apart from this, an increase of 2.07 per cent was recorded in Tata Steel, 1.85 per cent in JSW Steel, 1.49 per cent in Hindalco, 1.49 per cent in IndusInd Bank and 1. 24 per cent in Maruti.

Situation of sectoral indices

On Tuesday morning, most sectoral indices were trading in the red. The biggest fall was recorded in Nifty Realty, down 0.93 per cent. Apart from this, 0.33 per cent in Nifty Midsmall Healthcare, 0.56 per cent in Nifty Oil & Gas, 0.16 per cent in Nifty Consumer Durables, 0.10 per cent in Nifty Healthcare, 0.15 per cent in Nifty Private Bank, 0.18 percent in Nifty PSU Bank, 0.10 percent in Nifty Media, Nifty IT declined 0.19 percent, Nifty FMCG 0.53 percent, Nifty Financial Services 0.39 percent cent and Nifty Bank 0.22 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Auto saw a rise of 0.32 percent, Nifty Metal saw a rise of 0.76 percent and Nifty Pharma saw a rise of 0.21 percent.
