◆ The Municipal Corporation will have drinking water in 9 places through resting places, cisterns and ponds.
Ayodhya. Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi and Municipal Commissioner Santosh Kumar Sharma held a meeting with departmental officials at the Municipal Corporation zonal office regarding preparations for Chauhad Kosi and Panchkosi Parikrama. At the meeting, the Mayor reviewed with departmental officials issues regarding drinking water, public lighting, clean bathrooms, strengthening roads, etc. Instructed to complete all work sensitively and in a timely manner.
The Municipal Corporation has created 09 resting places for devotees at Parikrama Marg. Cisterns and ponds for drinking water have been installed throughout the route. In view of cleanliness, apart from permanent toilets, arrangements have been made for mobile toilets with caretakers along the entire parikrama route. Public lighting has been arranged according to needs.
The mayor said Ayodhya is a spiritual and religious city. Thousands of devotees come to Ayodhya during Chaudah Kosi and Panchkosi Parikrama. Since it is the first parikrama after Pran Pratistha, there is a possibility of more devotees. In view of which there should not be any laxity in the facilities of the devotees.
The municipal commissioner said preparations for Parikrama are being made for the last few days under the guidance of senior officials. Currently all necessary work has been completed. Extensive arrangements have been made to ensure that devotees coming to Ayodhya do not face any problem during the parikrama. Senior officers have been deployed to implement the arrangements.
In the meeting, Additional Municipal Commissioner Vagish Kumar Shukla, Ayodhya Dham Zonal Officer Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chief Engineer Punit Kumar Ojha, Rajpati Yadav, Jai Kumar, Shashikala Chaudhary, Rajesh Kumar Jha, Sanitation Inspector Kamal Kumar , Vijayendra Verma, Devi Shukla, Rakesh Verma and other officers were present.
