Chandigarh News: Chandigarh Workers Union Sanjay Arora Chandigarh MCC held a strong protest at Manimajra. The management, headed by union leader Surmukh Singh, does not pay attention to the demands of the employees. The union informed several times but the administration does not listen. Union general secretary Ravindra Bindu said contract employees are being continuously exploited.
To date, no employee fear policy has been adopted. Employees with contracts of between 8 and 10 years are dismissed. The union demands that no one be fired from their jobs. Even after 30 years, regularized employees’ funds have not started being deducted even though many employees are retiring. Employee medical bills are not approved every year. The union decided to attend the convention through the Joint Action Committee. The convention will be held on December 28 at MC Manimajra office. Besides Union President Surmukh Singh, Vice President Hukam Chandra, Jasbir Singh, Satwinder Narad, Vinod Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Harsharan Singh, etc. participated on this occasion.
