Acting on the order of the NCR Air Quality Management Commission under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) with respect to control of air pollution by the Central Air Quality Management Commission with Regarding air pollution control in NCR, Faridabad police issued 45 challans in the month of November.
We tell you that it was implemented in NCR from November 17.
Faridabad police have initiated measures to ensure compliance with the directives of Commissioner of Police Faridabad Omprakash Narwal, IPS. Due to which, Faridabad traffic police issued challans to 45 vehicles in the month of November as per GRAP norms. Giving information, the police spokesperson said that Faridabad traffic police have taken action against 15-year-old petrol and 10-year-old diesel vehicles. In the same sequence, in 2023, 263 15-year-old vehicles and 89 10-year-old vehicles have been seized, while in 2024, until October 31, 64 15-year-old vehicles and 3 10-year-old vehicles have been seized.
Giving more information, he said that Faridabad Traffic Police is taking continuous action against vehicles disobeying traffic rules. In this sequence, a total of 5,19,327 challans will be issued in the year 2023 and a total of 3,90,789 challans will be issued. Invoices have been issued to vehicles in the year 2024 until October 31.
