The political future of many great satraps of Maharashtra is at stake.

Maharashtra Assembly Election: The political future of many satraps is at stake in the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra on Wednesday. NCP (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena leader and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar are trying hard to get votes from the people for their respective parties. These assembly elections have emerged as a tough test for these four leaders and it is almost certain that the political future of whoever fails will be in question.

Which group will win the ‘Asli’ match?

We told you that Sharad Pawar had dealt a heavy blow to Ajit Pawar in the Lok Sabha elections, while his faction has been recognized by the Election Commission as the real Nationalist Congress Party. Sharad Pawar hopes to repeat the history of the Lok Sabha elections in the assembly elections too, while Ajit Pawar hopes to return with a good performance. On the other hand, if we talk about Shiv Sena’s Shinde and Uddhav factions, both of them did well in the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, the results of the assembly elections are now expected to decide who the public considers the true rightful owner of the party’s legacy. The Election Commission has recognized the Shinde-led faction as the real Shiv Sena.

How many seats are there old friends facing each other?

In Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (SP), Uddhav’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Congress are part of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance. At the same time, in addition to the Bharatiya Janata Party, the ruling Mahayuti alliance includes the Shiv Sena, led by Shinde, and the Nationalist Congress Party, led by Ajit Pawar. The BJP is contesting on 149 seats in Maharashtra, while the Shiv Sena fielded its candidates on 81 and the NCP on 59 seats. While Congress is trying its luck with 101 seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) with 95 and NCP (SP) with 86 seats. Both Shiv Sena factions are neck and neck in 50 seats. At the same time, rival factions of the NCP have fielded candidates against each other for 37 seats.

There will also be an interesting competition at Pawar Fort!

The fight between the two factions of Shiv Sena is mainly centered on “who is the king of Mumbai”. In reality, previously the undivided Shiv Sena dominated Mumbai, but now both factions of the party face each other in this financial capital of the country. At the same time, there is expected to be a close fight in these assembly elections between uncle and nephew i.e. Sharad and Ajit Pawar in western Maharashtra, which is considered the stronghold of the Pawar family. In his election rallies, Sharad Pawar appealed to the voters of the area to defeat the rebels, namely Ajit Pawar and his party’s candidates. At the same time, Ajit Pawar has been seen avoiding using harsh words against his uncle for fear of creating a wave of sympathy in his favor.

How was the performance in the Lok Sabha elections?

Let us tell you that in the Lok Sabha elections, the NCP (SP) won 8 seats, while the NCP had to settle for just one seat. At the same time, Shiv Sena (UBT) emerged victorious with 9 seats, while Shiv Sena won 7 seats. However, the issues of the Assembly elections are quite different from those of the Lok Sabha elections and both the alliances have put their whole hearts into these elections. It is believed that the margin of victory and defeat in many seats will be very small, so a close race can be seen in these elections. At the same time, votes received by parties like AIMIM, BSP and the Samajwadi Party can also play an important role in the victory or defeat of the candidates of the major parties.
