Chandigarh News|Chandigarh: Exciting matches continued on the fourth day of the 51st Indian Inter-Agency Table Tennis Championships held at the Gymnasium Hall of Panjab University. In the mixed doubles final, third-seeded RBI pair Diya Chitale and Manush Shah will take on top-seeded PSPB pair Yashaswini Ghorpade and Harmeet Desai.
Both pairs showed excellent performance in their semi-final and quarter-final matches and secured their place in the final. Despite the tough matches and busy schedule, the players maintained their pace and skills, demonstrating their talent and determination.
*Mixed Doubles Semifinal Result:*
• Yashaswini Ghorpade/Harmeet Desai (PSPB) defeated Poyamaanti Baisya/Akash Pal (RSPB): 11-9, 10-12, 12-10, 11-4
• Diya Chitale/Manush Shah (RBI) beat Sutirtha Mukherjee/Ronit Bhanja (RSPB): 8-11, 9-11, 11-9, 12-10, 11-9
*Mixed Doubles Quarterfinal Results:*
• Yashaswini/Harmeet beat Shruti Amrite/Anirban Ghosh (RSPB): 11-8, 11-7, 12-10
• Poyamanti/Aakash defeated Tanisha Kotecha/Jaish Modi (MAH): 11-7, 11-8, 11-6
• Diya/Manush defeated Selena Deepti Selvakumar/Rahul Yadav (CRSB): 14-12, 11-4, 11-9
• Sutirtha/Ronit defeated Anjali Rohilla/Himnakulapuingeta Jeho (IA&AD): 11-7, 11-5, 11-6
Meanwhile, the elimination rounds of the men’s and women’s individual categories also began, in which two rounds of the men’s category and one round of the women’s category were completed.
