Farmers from different parts of the country come to this market to buy and sell red chilies. Bediya Mirch Mandi is world famous, especially for Nimari Lal. Every year thousands of quintals of red chili peppers arrive here, which are exported to different parts of the country and the world.
Bediya Mandi is the second largest red chilli market in Asia. This market is spread over approximately 21 acres. As soon as new chilli crops arrive, farmers sell their red chillies to large quantities of traders in the market. It is reported that until October of this year, 77,507 quintals of chile have reached the market. Red chili farmers from different parts of the country come to this market. There are more than 400 merchants in this market, who buy chili peppers from farmers.

At the same time, the number of businessmen from different states is also not less. Every year, more than 15 traders from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat come to this market. Nimar chilli is grown in around 50,000 hectares in Khargone district alone. Around a thousand workers work in this market. Thanks to which they earn their living. Farmers buy the red chili first. Later, after cleaning it, it is sent to India and abroad.
